10 Questions with E-Tard… Stop Hatin’ Bitches!!!

The Urban Dictionary defines the term E-Tard several ways, but we’ll go with this the one for example:
#1. E-Tard
n. A derogatory name given to people on Ecstasy by those not on the drug. It is due to E users’ common desire to run up and hug everyone, or engage in other assorted hypersocial behavior which may seem annoying or intrusive to those who aren’t on E
Usage:
“Damn E-tards, always coming up and feeling my furry coat…”
I think a lot of people view E-tard as such but in my short time on JTV I talked with him and he seemed genuinely nice and helpful. E-tard showed me which webcam programs to get and the difference between them. It wasn’t long after that I started to hear of sporadic E-Tard drama which escalated in an already out of control environment of Justin.TV. This leads me to speculate that maybe those of you that bash him either don’t really know the guy and have heard it was fun to do so. Or, Maybe you envy his carefree lifestyle. Whatever the case may be, I’ve decided to take it upon myself and ask E-Tard 10 questions about himself. These answers should offer some clarity on the subject.
Below is our Q/A in E-Tard’s own words. Nothing has been altered or corrected:
1. LaLaFuFu!: What do you do for a living?
-E-Tard: I work from home as a IT Security Consultant various WebSites on the Net.
2. LaLaFuFu!: Why do you stream?
-E-Tard: socal sux & there is nothing to do in Temecula, I dont have alot of good friends here so streaming gives me something to do & people to talk to.
3. LaLaFuFu!: With so much negativity surrounding you. Why do you continue to stream?
-E-Tard: well for every fan you make you will have a hater as well, I continue to stream because I want to. I have been doing this for almost 2 years & i replly dont care what the haters think if they dont like my cast then find some other cast to watch.
4.. LaLaFuFu!: When you first came to JTV, all seemed quiet. But once you established your channel the negative comments about you soon started to make their way around JTV. Did these people follow you to JTV from Stickam or did this all start on JTV?
-E-Tard: just like my fans some did follow me from Stickam others were new haters. the main thing to think about is this, alot of members on JTV kick someone for 10minutes for being an ass hole in the chat room & believe me there are alot of them on JTV
but any way I dont do kicks on JTV, I dont feel I should have to put up with that carp agan, if you are new to my chat then
you get one Chance in my chat room. I take shit from no one & for the most part they are mad that i dont take shit from no one.
5. LaLaFuFu!: What do you gain by continuing to stream?
-E-Tard: the answer given in question 2 & 3 will answer this one
6. LaLaFuFu!: Give me one thing that you’d like people to know about E-tard?
-E-Tard: that I am really a good guy once you get to know me.
7. LaLaFuFu!: What does your “real life” friends think of these people that hate you?
-E-Tard: well as i toled you before i dont really have friends here in socal but some fo my north CA friends know about my LifeCast but dont really take part in it so there for they dont really know about my so call haters.
8. LaLaFuFu!: Is having a fan club of hate a desirable thing or is it a burden?
-E-Tard: having a fan club of haters tells me one thing & that is people cant just turn it off. If i dont like a song or a raido show, tv show etc.. I change the channel or i turn it off. so to all the people out there that dont like my cast change the Fing channel or i turn it off, in any case you not likeing my LifeCast is not my god dam problem get over it, because I will continue my LifeCast not matter what you say or do.
9. LaLaFuFu!: JTV has let a lot of people get away with stuff far worst then anything you’ve said or done. Do you feel that you where singled out?
-E-Tard: in some way yes i do feel that. like the time when JTV put up the 18 & up flag on my page by JTV putting that on my page made it so only members of JTV who are 18 & up can see me page & none of my JTV player embeds would work all because of the bad words i use on JTV, its like look at the broadcaster named dealer he should of had it added to his cast as well so really you dont have the freedom of speech on JTV what so ever but on ustream they let me say what ever i want & really the so called bad words i use are really only bad in america.
10. LaLaFuFu!: What fate would you like to see befall on JTV?
-E-Tard: to be sued by the TV networks or to see the website die out.

Many people hate E-tard because of his intolerance for the general stupidity that pervades second-rate operations like JTV. I’ve gotten to know him somewhat and my assessment is that he is a very intelligent, capable person. He can carry on a highly engaging and pertinent conversation, unlike most of the inane dopes who cast.

Why does this Tim Moore care for e-tard so much? I don’t have an opinion on e-tard one way or the other, but based on his responses to these questions, you can see why people have reacted so negatively to his presence. The spite, anger, and animosity is clearly evident in his responses and may well explain his short lived relationship with the likes of j.tv. (count the number of “i don’t give a damn,” “I dont take sh*t from no one,”)

I’m 45 years old. I work in IT. I was visiting ustream and exploring the various shows on there. I found myself in the e-tard channel. After lurking there for a while as ustreamer-#####, I had decided to participate in the conversation, which was pretty stagnant. I changed my nick to ‘rated’, and was banned. No explanation was given, although I did hear him mumble something about banning me. I continued to listen for a while, and heard e-tard be verbally abusive to many people. I wouldn’t normally objective to his colourful language, except he specifically requests keeping it pg-13. I find myself glad to know what he looks like, should I find him sitting across from me in an interview. Poor people skills barely scratches the surface here. For those would defend him - would you let him talk to your family like that?

e-tard brought all the haters on himself with his ban bots and his overall practice of banning people permanently for no good reason.. I once saw him ban someone who said that they liked Dell over HP.. We all know that his dad works for HP and that makes him an HP fanboy, but banning someone because they have a different opinion is just overall ridiculous. He constantly goes off on rants about how his opinion is the right one and if you don’t agree then you are banned. He banned me once for asking what websites he runs security for. He even used to brag about the size of his ban-list on JTV.. I guess if there’s nothing else in your life to be proud of then that’s what you do.
He’s also constantly puts people down and calls them stupid and morons.. etc.. It’s obvious by the way he speaks that he thinks he’s smart, but his use of the English language is very poor. He sounds like a 6th grade drop-out who is trying to talk like a Harvard graduate. Seems to me that he’s a jobless slob that is mooching off of his dad and making no attempt to get a -real- job. He spends all of his time “life-casting” (I won’t get in to that but if his “life” is sitting in front of a computer all day long then that’s no life at all).
In the end he got a taste of what he had been dishing out because he got banned from JTV the same way he banned everyone in his chat — for no good reason..

I think his comment above does plenty to prove what sort of person he is. He seems to think any attention is good, even if it’s negative. Well, if that’s what he wants, great, he’s getting what he wants. However, I truly hope he does not behave in this manner with ‘real life’ inter-personal encounters. I would fear for his physical well-being. I suspect he’s different in person though, as the anonymity the internet provides seems to result in a certain percentage of people engaging in very abrasive and rude behaviour they wouldn’t dare exhibit otherwise. I think the majority of people who do this ‘grow out of it’. I’ll hope for sooner rather than later.
