Filmmaker John Lee of Urban Expose’ fame is doing a documentary about the rise and fall of Urban Box Office. The largest Urban dotcom company ever with over 60 million dollars in funding. What’s funny is the fact that he has video of me and he’s standing real close to me, but I for the life of me do not remember anyone filming in there. The Roots live VH1 Soul performance went down last night in NYC and a good time was had by all. While I’ve seen them perform on numerous occasions, this performance was a little bit ho hum to me. First off they flubbed the first song totally requiring them to restart the set. The energy was not quite at the level of a typical Roots performance.
