Lately I’ve been watching less and less of Comcast programing. The DVR Comcast supplys to me at a cost of $30 bucks a month for 2 boxes is not only disappointing but after 7 years of renting them I’ve paid $2,520.00 for the privilege.  THIS IS MADNESS!!! So guess what Comcast? Your set-top children are returning home next week.

The elgato HDHomeRun dual tuner system should stand in prefectly at a cost of $199.00 this little box will allow me to shedule recordings that I can watch either on my Macs or my  Plasma TVs all in the Clear QAM format. Clear QAM allows me to access HD channels and regular programming that Comcast sends thru the pipes at a standard access charge.

By running this system off a Mac Mini set-up in my studio I can convert my recorded shows and save them to my iTunes server in the same box. If I purchase an additional Apple TV box and put it in the bedroom I can cover the entire house with stored recorded content. The box also comes with 2 licensed copies of EyeTV 3 which I can install a copy on my desktop machine or the laptop if I feel compelled to watch live TV at anytime. Comcast I’m you’ve been ripping me off for years with your excessive cost and poor service so You get the boot on the premium channels and DVR. Much more can be had for much less.

The year 2000 has to be recognized as the year fear took over the world. OMG, “my year 2000″ was supposed to be a milestone in human evolution & technology, but in less than a year of George Bush we experienced the horrors of 911 claiming the lives of 2752 people. The so-called March 20th 2003 Iraqi war to date has claimed the lives of over 4430 US & Coalition forces was co-signed by our Government and we still don’t know why or for what real reason.

It’s not hard to tell that Americans have been bamboozled into the idea that Americans are in danger. Hell, our world is controlled by corporate greed and lobbyist who hold the purse strings to vast amounts of corporate “dirty money“. Our politicians are a group of greedy stand up puppets that stand for nothing. The sheer fact that I can wrap my face in a kuffiyeh will undoubtedly lead to confusion and fear. A lot of people think that getting George W. Bush out of the White House will mark an era of change but the only change in my honest opinion is a change of one set of greedy bottom feeders for a new set.

What should American’s be doing to protect their own futures and safeties? Well first, you have to make the decision to question EVERYTHING. Secondly, you have to make a plan for yourself in the event things get worst in this country. Will you have the resources to leave? Will you have cash that’s still worth something in other countries at your disposal? Is your passport in good standing? Are you on a “No  Fly List“? All of these things you need to find out so that if and when martial law does lock down the home of the brave you won’t get trapped here.

Well Loren’s gift of skating from one company to another has given him yet another great opportunity that he will most likely fcuk up for himself. You see, C|net has given Loren the opportunity to create content for them. I personally think it’s a goof, I mean C|net has to obviously know that Loren is eventually going to do or say something embarrassing to C|net, right? It has to be a goof, a put him on, wait til he implodes type of deal. We’ll see…

What I like about what Loren has managed to pull off, is the fact that he’s acting sort of similar to what’s known as a “Shock Jock” i.e. Howard Stern type. It’s a good strategy and one that requires the least amount of mental effort. And there’s nothing wrong with it, I like shock jocks. What I don’t like are those who go straight for the obvious gags and bits.

I’ve been trolling these internets for over 14 years and like the reoccurring theme from Battlestar Galactica, and the line goes, “What has happened before, will happen again.” Look, racism on the web is nothing new. When I first got here back in 1996, people where fighting  race wars on IRC and hate sites where popping up all over the place. The net has seen many a moronic moment and poor judgment when dealing with people of color.

I think now since Loren is now working for C|net maybe he can concentrate on his puppet shows and less on his racially insensitive material. I’ll be watching Loren’s work with a vested interest. Loren,

Filmmaker John Lee of Urban Expose’ fame is doing a documentary about the rise and fall of Urban Box Office. The largest Urban dotcom company ever with over 60 million dollars in funding. What’s funny is the fact that he has video of me and he’s standing real close to me, but I for the life of me do not remember anyone filming in there. And I’m looking goofy as hell.

The Clinton’s struck pay dirt when Bill left office. Hilary’s campaign will undoubtedly bring more money into the Clinton’s household if she’s elected. It stands to reason the anger in Bill Clinton lies in the fact that:

A. He’s shook hands and assured that Hillary would help further agendas that don’t benefit the American people.
B. He’s upset that Hillary is losing to an African American. Life in the Clinton’s compound has to be hell right now.
C. They will not return victoriously to the White House as if in some Camelot storybook vindication for leaving the White house in same those many years ago.
