I was on my way to Harlem yesterday on the 1 train when I noticed this ad on the wall. I can be Kanye West now. Like wow! I have had my dreams fulfilled! Kanye, I’m sorry but there’s no way I’d want to be you. You’re short, that accent of yours I could do without & the memory of writing a check that would eventually lead to personal family tragedy… So no, I’ll pass. Under closer inspection, this “ad” was a clever ploy cooked up by Absolut Vodka to promote their brand. Very clever as I felt compelled to get to the bottom of this thing the moment I saw it. Today like most days, tech happenings that affect many African-Americans & wiggers online go largely unnoticed by the likes of people on Twitter and other social media circle-jerks. But today, the largely unknown & unacknowledged SOHH.com was hacked and defaced. Later today, SOHH had the DDOS‘d knocked out of them.
