Watching Anderson Cooper on CNN.com you get a sense that he’s 70% humanitarian and 30% pimpin. For example he’s carrying this child out of harms way.

If you watch the clip he carefully weighs his options based on where that camera is. I can’t hate on that, the man IS “hands on” in his reporting game. I got to give CNN a gold star on this one, the reporting has been heartfelt and excellent. Hopefully, CNN has learned it’s lesson with “Balloon Boy”.

Lately I’ve been watching less and less of Comcast programing. The DVR Comcast supplys to me at a cost of $30 bucks a month for 2 boxes is not only disappointing but after 7 years of renting them I’ve paid $2,520.00 for the privilege.  THIS IS MADNESS!!! So guess what Comcast? Your set-top children are returning home next week.

The elgato HDHomeRun dual tuner system should stand in prefectly at a cost of $199.00 this little box will allow me to shedule recordings that I can watch either on my Macs or my  Plasma TVs all in the Clear QAM format. Clear QAM allows me to access HD channels and regular programming that Comcast sends thru the pipes at a standard access charge.

By running this system off a Mac Mini set-up in my studio I can convert my recorded shows and save them to my iTunes server in the same box. If I purchase an additional Apple TV box and put it in the bedroom I can cover the entire house with stored recorded content. The box also comes with 2 licensed copies of EyeTV 3 which I can install a copy on my desktop machine or the laptop if I feel compelled to watch live TV at anytime. Comcast I’m you’ve been ripping me off for years with your excessive cost and poor service so You get the boot on the premium channels and DVR. Much more can be had for much less.

The Clinton’s struck pay dirt when Bill left office. Hilary’s campaign will undoubtedly bring more money into the Clinton’s household if she’s elected. It stands to reason the anger in Bill Clinton lies in the fact that:

A. He’s shook hands and assured that Hillary would help further agendas that don’t benefit the American people.
B. He’s upset that Hillary is losing to an African American. Life in the Clinton’s compound has to be hell right now.
C. They will not return victoriously to the White House as if in some Camelot storybook vindication for leaving the White house in same those many years ago.

You would be upset too…

So whatever man that’s strike 1, it’s nothing I’m in a weird mood right now so many people I feel should be supportive are on some ole “New York Shit” right now. I send my little questions in and proceeded to get no answers in reply except for her to tell me she sent me the questions. WTF!!! I know not everyone is an emailing beast like I, but come on shorty, I was feeling you. Count that strike 2.

Initially, my convos there seemed like progress. Here lately most of the people I do know are ignoring me. WTH did I do? People are funny with they’re ways I guess everyone is searching for that breakthrough moment when they will be recognized for their contribution or maybe I’m wack I don’t even know what they thinking and I don’t care either. Fuck you all, I’m taking my attention off of Twitter for a little while so I can do something for myself. Strike 3!

So Barack we’re batting 0 wins for this week but that’s ok. My new mindset won’t let that bother me and with my interest renewed in my blog it’s time to put some more elbow grease in and get this blog’s content and traffic up. Sweetie dont be sad about me leaving the show because I’m still right here. I got the opportunity of a lifetime within a year of rapping, and not many can say that they have worldwide exposure before even dropping something on these streets. I am damn proud of what I accomplished. No one will forget the name 2States anytime soon, I made sure of that! lol! I am more focused on the positive outcome than the fact that I went home. I showed my ass on that show.

To those that don’t know this lady, Sinceer’s tactics in influencing Flav about the short comings of other contestants undoubtedly put Sinceer in the upper league of past show contestants on killing sprees. However, Flavor realized he was being manipulated towards the end of the show and brought Thing 2 back to re-join the contest. Sinceer realized that her time was up and tried to make nice with Thing Thing. At the end, she confessed that when Flavor sent her home the love had left the building. Oh well, mean bitches don’t always win. Hoooray for Love!!!

Anyway props to an unpredictable end as I was sure Thing 2 (Latrisha) did not have a chance here. Is it true love? Who knows but Thing 2′s memorable elimination in the episode leading up to the trip to France had even me believing this could be true love. LOL’z!!! I mean look at the girl, she’s no supermodel but then again Flav is no catch either. It’s a match made in heaven and I wish both of those booga-bears much happiness together in your romantical endevours Keep your fingers crossed Thing 2!!!

I’ve been thinking I NEED TO BLOG!!!, I NEED TO BLOG!!!, I NEEDS TO BLOG!!!, I NEED TO BLAARRRGHHH!!! and the truth be told is I have at least 10 gigs of stuff bumping around my head but nothing I can deliver in more then a paragraph or two. So with that being said I’ll try to throw a few things out there.

1. Hillary Clinton: Dear reader if you support her I want to punch you in your face! I mean it, I mean how can you support such hateful and vindictive strategies to become your next President? What a bitch! BARRACK DAT HOE! Please, there’s no reason for her to continue in this. PS: FCUK Bill Clinton too! You was never Black!

2. China’s Earthquake: It seems China does everything ass backwards ever since they built the Great Wall it’s been all downhill ever since. China has so little respect for human life that they will allow contractors to build buildings that are a little less than huts built with shit bricks for their people to live in. The way these buildings fell down all of these builders should be brought into a line up and shot to death.

3. Twitter bitchin’: I like Twitter actually love it, but I don’t cry every-time it goes down. People have become so dependent on Tweeting that they can’t stand to have it taken away from them for just a moment. Grow up Nerds and read a book until it comes back.

4. Stuff Rich Black Folk Like: No bashing on this one I mean honestly I’d love to be in the position of one of these people right now. I was asked to document a Uptown Magazine/Aston Martin Dinner at Bruno Jamais Restaurant on the upper East Side of Manhattan. Very awesome event IMHO and a good peak into the lifestyle’s of people with more money then they know what to do with.

5. George Bush: What a stupid motherfucker! Clearly the fear is John McCain not being the strongest Republican running right now and Bush’s frustration at the fact that Barrack Obama might just pull the Democratic Presidential nomination off keeps the good old boys at the The Carlyle Group awake at night. Good FCUK EM!!!

6. Conspiracy Theories: I’ve had DVD‘s shoved under my door, I’ve watched footage from multiple angles and one thing is clear September 11th, 2001 was a clearly botched but orchestrated event. My mind is way too analytical to believe things like this at face value. I feel so sorry for those people that lost their lives. I feel sorry for myself in seeing the second plane hit the towers. I feel sorry for having to hear military jets fly over my house for weeks after 911. So no more DVD’s under my door,  I’m pretty fucked up as it is.

7. Celebreality: It’s for stupid people and is exploitive to all the people in front of the camera. I only hope Flavor Flav has a good percentage of the show’s ownership on the DVD sales because I would hate to see him have to walk the streets after his show has come to and end. My stats all point to my VH1 content so that’s why I’m still doing it but it makes me sad that people find this stuff compelling. PS: as long as dumb people still search for it I’m gonna have it right here.

The Roots live VH1 Soul performance went down last night in NYC and a good time was had by all. While I’ve seen them perform on numerous occasions, this performance was a little bit ho hum to me. First off they flubbed the first song totally requiring them to restart the set. The energy was not quite at the level of a typical Roots performance. I’d have to chalk this one up as an off night.

Our boy Ahmir Khalib “?uestlove” Thompson does his thing as always in an interview you’ll see later on Uptownlife.Net Michael Gonzales killed this interview last night so it’s definitely worth checking out once it drops and I’ll post it here on the blog for you to check out.
