Lately I’ve been watching less and less of Comcast programing. The DVR Comcast supplys to me at a cost of $30 bucks a month for 2 boxes is not only disappointing but after 7 years of renting them I’ve paid $2,520.00 for the privilege.  THIS IS MADNESS!!! So guess what Comcast? Your set-top children are returning home next week.

The elgato HDHomeRun dual tuner system should stand in prefectly at a cost of $199.00 this little box will allow me to shedule recordings that I can watch either on my Macs or my  Plasma TVs all in the Clear QAM format. Clear QAM allows me to access HD channels and regular programming that Comcast sends thru the pipes at a standard access charge.

By running this system off a Mac Mini set-up in my studio I can convert my recorded shows and save them to my iTunes server in the same box. If I purchase an additional Apple TV box and put it in the bedroom I can cover the entire house with stored recorded content. The box also comes with 2 licensed copies of EyeTV 3 which I can install a copy on my desktop machine or the laptop if I feel compelled to watch live TV at anytime. Comcast I’m you’ve been ripping me off for years with your excessive cost and poor service so You get the boot on the premium channels and DVR. Much more can be had for much less.

Those of you who know, or rather do care know I’ve been a bit sick the past couple of weeks so I’m finally coming out of it and I figure I’d throw up something totally random. Shot an interesting video over the weekend with the WHOfarm who believe the Whitehouse should have an organic garden on it’s grounds (17 acres of ground). They where camping out at the 5th Avenue Apple store in Manhattan for 7 days to break a “Guniness Book of World Records” record and to bring light to their cause. I wish them success on that.

Are We Scared Yet?!?!? Look at my picture bitches!!! Be Scared!!!

The year 2000 has to be recognized as the year fear took over the world. OMG, “my year 2000″ was supposed to be a milestone in human evolution & technology, but in less than a year of George Bush we experienced the horrors of 911 claiming the lives of 2752 people. The so-called March 20th 2003 Iraqi war to date has claimed the lives of over 4430 US & Coalition forces was co-signed by our Government and we still don’t know why or for what real reason.

It’s not hard to tell that Americans have been bamboozled into the idea that Americans are in danger. Hell, our world is controlled by corporate greed and lobbyist who hold the purse strings to vast amounts of corporate “dirty money“. Our politicians are a group of greedy stand up puppets that stand for nothing. The sheer fact that I can wrap my face in a kuffiyeh will undoubtedly lead to confusion and fear. A lot of people think that getting George W. Bush out of the White House will mark an era of change but the only change in my honest opinion is a change of one set of greedy bottom feeders for a new set.

What should American’s be doing to protect their own futures and safeties? Well first, you have to make the decision to question EVERYTHING. Secondly, you have to make a plan for yourself in the event things get worst in this country. Will you have the resources to leave? Will you have cash that’s still worth something in other countries at your disposal? Is your passport in good standing? Are you on a “No  Fly List“? All of these things you need to find out so that if and when martial law does lock down the home of the brave you won’t get trapped here.

Today like most days, tech happenings that affect many African-Americans & wiggers online go largely unnoticed by the likes of people on Twitter and other social media circle-jerks. But today, the largely unknown & unacknowledged SOHH.com was hacked and defaced. Later today, SOHH had the DDOS‘d knocked out of them. EPIC LUL’z undoubtedly ensued shortly afterward…

One things is for certain. I don’t know who da fcuk did it, and I really don’t care either! Looking around the web all fingers point to ebaumsworld.com, but 4chan has been mentioned as well. Taunts from SOHH’s JBO (Just Buggin’ Out) forum where rumored to be the ignition point of the site hack but when the site hack resulted in more shit talk from JBO, I assume the decision was made to launch an all out DDOS attack on SOHH.com. Subsequently spilling over to AHH.com later in the day. Someone claiming to be Anon snitched this poorly crafted claim on LvLselect.com:

I just want to say one thing before I end this post. AHH and SOHH.com have made a little money running their sites. The owners don’t run around acting “Nigger Rich” as some say flaunting their good fortune. Currently, they are on conference calls running strategy on how to fix this “minor” annoyance. The bottom line is, the “hackers” may have probably raep them for a couple of grand in lost revenue, (they do actually make money running these sites you know…) but I know damn well these folks aren’t going to roll over and go out of business. That would be some young minded shiii to think.

My boy @mager (who is a C|net employee) tweeted yesterday about the the Digg.com page for the new C|net.com redesign. C|net I’m sorry, you lost me on this one. I’ve stayed with you guys through all of your site iterations but the new layout looks like a a premium Wordpress theme that I could by for about $39 dollars US. The designer of the new look @dbfarber had this to say about the criticism,

From some of the commenters it appears the paint job framing the content is more important than the content. Yellow, red, green, blue, black whatever. We came up the cleaner look and updated logo for presenting content. Beauty is only skin deep….”

DBFarber I disagree, see I’ve been a C|net fan since the first show “CNET Central” aired in 1994 on the Sci Fi Channel. back then the internet didn’t exist for me. C|net eventually helped me make a decision to go to New York to pursue a career on the internet in 1997. I’m not the only person that hates this redesign. You’re basically stripping away the identity of one of the most recognized nerd destinations on the web. C|net keep your identity and I’ll keep coming back. Throw it away and I’ll probably not care as much about you. You have been warned C|net.

The issues:

1. Lock down my content categories. They’re all over the place.
2. Be more timely, I’m not blogging in a timely manner.
3. Remove conflicting advertising. If anything, I should be advertising the blogs that I do read and not these advertisers that aren’t paying me. yet
4. My attitude is all wrong. I can’t be objective to the subject because like Michelle Obama, I wear my emotions on my sleeve.

I’m gonna change all of these things.
